How do I find a YouTube video I watched but forgot the name of?
If you were signed in, YouTube keeps your watch history at youtube.com/feed/history, which you can search by words in the title. If you only remember what the video was about, Trawl searches the YouTube videos in your browser history by meaning and shows their thumbnails, without signing in to anything.
The built-in way (free)
- Open youtube.com/feed/history and use the search box on that page.
- In your browser press ⌘ Y and search your history for "youtube".
With Trawl
- Type what it was about: "that video about neural networks".
- Videos show with their thumbnail; ↵ opens it in the browser you watched it in.
